The diaco® dental chair simply and safely reclines your wheelchair patient into the optimal treatment position for all types of oral care. Your patient remains in the safety and comfort of their own wheelchair at all times throughout the treatment phase eliminating any requirement for manual transfer, hoisting or lifting. The diaco® dental chair allows you to position the wheelchair patients head in the same position as you would achieve with an able bodied patient in a standard dental chair.

Positioning the diaco® dental chair next to the current dental chair allows the clinical team access to the current services. There may be some requirement for the lengthening of suction hoses, we can advise you of this during our surgery visit.

Yes. The diaco® dental chair has a safety handle allowing the patient to be quickly, but safely, returned to the upright position within 4 seconds. This is of particular importance for emergency situations or in the event of complete power failure at the surgery.

Back to topYes. The backrest and headrest can be fully adjusted to suit any position required. For patients who have their own integrated headrest on their wheelchair the Diaco headrest can either be fully removed or preferably used as a head support used in conjunction with their own head rest.
